- Centrifuge the vial before opening, reconstitute in sterile distilled water to a concentration of 0.1-1 mg/ml by gently pipetting 2-3 times, don't vortex.

- The lyophilized protein is stable at -20 °C for up to 1 year. For extended storage, it is recommended to further dilute in working aliquots after reconstitution. The protein solution is stable at ≤ -20 °C for 3 months, or 2-7 days at 2-8 °C under sterile conditions.Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycle.

At 2-8 °C unless the datasheet says otherwise. Do not freeze a kit that is not marked for freezing.
How long is an opened kit stable?
It depends on the component. The Kit Components table on this page lists the storage condition for each item after opening.
What should I do if the shipment arrives warm?
Photograph the package and contact us the same day. Do not use the kit until we have confirmed it is still within specification.

My background is too high. What should I check?
The usual causes are insufficient washing, contaminated buffers, or too much detection antibody. Our Protocol pages cover the full troubleshooting sequence.
Can I run fewer wells than the kit provides?
Yes. Dismountable microplates let you use part of a plate and reseal the rest with the desiccant supplied.
